Calcite w/ Orpiment & Realgar

Item Description

Canary-yellow orpiment with a few dabs of red realgar really lights up this nifty thumbnail pair of glassy calcite scalenohedrons from this noted locale. The calcites are very glassy and are water-clear. The orpiment coats and is included-in the calcite. Two prism faces on the back have preferential oxide coatings. Essentially pristine, with only a very gentle, out-of-sight bruise to the the back side of the large calcite tip. A very fine thumbnail.
