Scintillating, marcasite microcrystals coat the strikingly sharp phantom clearly visible in the water-clear front of this beautiful and sharply terminated calcite scalenohedron from the well-known Linwood Mine of Iowa. Interestingly, the calcite faces are translucent on the back. The crystal is essentially pristine, with only the most trivial of bruising. Single marcasite-included calcite crystals of this quality are very uncommon. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
