Item Description

A fantastically sculptural specimen of striking, intergrown wheat sheaf-like bundles of lustrous cream- and tan-colored single and doubly terminated calcite spikes from this famous mine and the Ross Lillie Collection # 1156. Nearly a floater with only two attachment points, one of which has a small amount of glassy fluorite. A classic, old-time and outstanding calcite form for the locale. His label indicates that the piece was collected calculated early 1960s. The lighter colored calcite fluoresces a stronger ghostly white.
