Calcite w/ Fluorite (both fluorescent)

Item Description

This Chinese mine is well-known for beautiful, very glassy, flattened calcite rhombs. A 3.8 cm gem crystal is elegantly perched on the shale matrix with smaller rhombs and a rich scattering of hard-to-see, water-clear, very light green, fluorite cubes. The rhomb is essentially pristine, with only one, barely noticeable, spot of edge wear. Both species fluoresce. Most excellent combination material.
