Item Description
A fabulous pair of glassy, translucent, striated scalenohedrons from the famed Quincy Mine - classic material from the heyday here in the late 1800s and early 1900s (one assumes this would have come out then, too). One side of the crystals are beautifully emblazoned with tiny, very sharp, tetrahexahedral copper crystals with a nice patina. Both crystals also enclose super-bright copper. Double your copper pleasure here. This is an outstanding, old-time and pristine piece, and is a rarity for such a soft mineral. They look like a pair of sails from the sides! Ex Phil Scalisi Collection. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!! Valued at $1750
