Item Description

Boulangerite included calcite specimens are a signature species from this historic Romanian polymetallic mine. Striking isolated and clustered rosettes of included bladed calcite rhombs are dramatically set on the sculptural large mounded matrix covered sparkly microcrystalline calcite and boulangerite. The large rosette at the top is 3.0 cm and the cluster is 6.0 cm long. This is a very fine and aesthetic large example of this desirable combination material from the Ted Bartels Collection.
