Item Description

A fantastic 360-degree rosette miniature from the famous Herja Mine. Striking, lustrous intergrown parallel-growth clusters of curved flattened calcite rhombs are included with gray boulangerite, a Pb-Sb sulfosalt. This is a signature species from the locale. A fine and uncommon BONUS are the scattered frosted, nubby bronzy tetrahedral freibergite crystals, to 5 mm, on the blades. Freibergite is a Ag-Cu-Fe-Sb sulfosalt. Very aesthetic and uncommon combination material from the Ted Bartels Collection.
