Item Description

High quality calcite specimens are rare from this less well-known New Mexico mine. Glassy, sharp, translucent rhombs with lightly frosted/etched faces and rounded edges, to 2.0 cm on the diagonal, are aesthetically clustered on the matrix plate. The scattered tiny yellow arsenic-rich, arsenian vanadinite or endlichite (former species name, now discredited) crystals are a rare and colorful accent.
