Item Description

These specimens have confused collectors since they first came out in the early 1990s as calcite after something embedded in concretions and then glendonite (a variety of calcite) after ikaite. This stellate spray of pseudomorphs is strikingly capped by a VERY RARE 1.3 cm, separated mollusc shell! Amazingly rare and showy combination material!
