Calcite V-twins

China has produced numerous world-class calcite finds in the last 20 years, but few have surpassed these fantastic sharp V-twins, that came out around 2000. A stout, glassy, 4.0 cm V-twin with a striking "arm" (totall length 5.0 cm) aesthetically rests on the thin matrix crust festooned with tiny calcites and two larger V-twins (2.2 cm largest). The light iron oxide tinting adds pizzazz to this excellent and pristine specimen from this contemporary classic find. From an East Coast collection.
