A bizarre looking and RARE style calcite from this less well-known Santa Eulalia Mine. Dramatic, blocky, stepped-growth, elongated light straw-yellow calcite rhombs comprise this most unusual piece. The lustrous, translucent rhombs have fantastic striated faces, some even with chevron forms and the dusting of included iron or manganese oxides adds even more pizzazz. A most strange looking calcite from the Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection, with even the mine level known. It has a surreal cityscape architecture!
