Item Description

Mineral specimens are uncommon from this less well-known Pennsylvania limestone quarry. This sculptural 360-degree vuggy small cabinet is composed of sections of tiny glassy white calcite scalenohedrons and much drusy calcite on the limestone matrix. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired as a gift in 1993. It was collected by Harne & Dick Peters in 1991. Ghostly white fluorescence. RARE Pennsylvania calcite from the locale.
