Item Description
Striking, large, disc-like, flattened calcite rhombs on matrix form an impressive large specimen from an uncommon Washington locale - Metaline Falls. The highly lustrous, translucent, colorless crystals are up to 12.3 cm wide! The primary rhombs are essentially pristine. The noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this showy piece. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased in 1979. Very faint pink fluorescence. Rarely on the market in this size. Valued at $500-750.
