Calcite (uncommon locale) ex Obodda

Item Description

A very attractive cabinet plate of large, disc-like, flattened calcite rhombs on matrix from an uncommon Washington locale - Metaline Falls. The highly lustrous, translucent, colorless crystals are up to 3.5 cm. Complete-all-around and nearly pristine, with only a couple of gently bruised rhombs on the periphery. Rarely available on the market and this is excellent quality. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by Herb at $350, five or more years ago.
