Calcite twins w/ Quartz (Gutierrez Coll.)

Item Description

A 7.5 cm, well-formed, glassy, translucent, calcite twin is aesthetically set on siliceous limestone matrix covered with tiny scintillating drusy quartz crystals. The attached small twin is a nifty accent. The variable straw-yellow crystal has beautifully gemmy termination areas. The outward end is slightly cleaved.
