Item Description

Three intergrown, lustrous, transparent to translucent, honey-brown calcite twins with frosted faces are jauntily set atop matrix covered with quartz points on this aesthetic combination from the famous Shangbao Mine. The two smaller calcites are doubly terminated, the largest being 4.8 cm. One corner hosts a 2.3 cm brassy pyrite cube, adding more pizzazz. Choice nearly pristine combination material from the Cynthia Payne Calcite Collection, with only trivial bruising to the bottom tip of large DT calcite crystal, which is out-of-sight in the primary display view.
