Calcite twins (Kay Robertson Coll.)

Item Description

A sculptural large intergrown cluster of gemmy calcite twins from this famed locale. All of the aesthetically intergrown crystals are twins. The light golden-amber terminations and plates of attached drusy quartz matrix are desirable elements to the mainly colorless crystals. The large crystal is 7.7 cm and all of the crystals, but one, are pristine. Ex Kay Robertson Collection with no number. Kay purchased a selection of Elmwood calcites in the 1980s or 90s and this is an excellent large example of this style with multiple display possibilities.
