Gem-like interpenetrating calcite twins are beautifully set on this really sweet miniature from the famous Cole Shaft at Bisbee. The exquisite large crystal is 1.2 cm across. Sparkly tiny calcite scalenohedrons and Fe- or Mn-oxides line the sculptural vug on this very fine older Bisbee specimen. Ex Cynthia Payne Collection and priced at $495 by the former dealer.
