A very fine and eye-catching calcite specimen from this well-known quarry in Belgium. The La Sambre Quarry has produced some excellent calcites in its history, some of which show wonderful crystallization, such as this fine piece. This aesthetic piece hosts a two GEM quality, complex, colorless, lustrous, twinned calcite sitting on smaller amber calcites on matrix. The beautiful large crystal is 2.0 cm across.
