Here is a dramatic and sculptural, piggy-back pair of near floater, glassy, yellowish tinted Calcite crystals that are terminated all around. This showy Elmwood piece consists of one gemmy, doubly terminated, four and a half inch crystal at the bottom toting a slightly smaller, nearly four inch crystal on top. Both crystals are turbid to slightly transparent in the center, and transparent at the tips which display a lovely honey color. Three out of the four terminal ends have multiple scalenohedral growth, all with excellent terminations. One of the multiples is missing a tip, otherwise the edges and faces are sharp and there is only one small point of contact on the bottom crystal. The overall effect of this piece is like that of a three dimensional sculpture and is very engaging! Old material from the 1980s. Valued $2000
