Item Description

A beautiful classic Calcite specimen from the Leiping Mine in China. The piece features a 3.2 cm, sharp, lustrous, well-formed, gemmy/translucent, "X"-shaped twinned crystal group of Calcite with beautiful inclusions of earthy red colored Hematite sitting on tiny Calcites on a thin bit of matrix. A really showy piece with only a few tiny imperfections. A very worthwhile and showy specimen for a collector of this specific material, worldwide Calcites, twinned crystals or Chinese minerals. Priced at $600 in the inventory.
