A VERY RARE and fantastically shaped pair of sharp, extremely flattened, tapered calcite twins from a very obscure Mexico locale and the Cynthia Payne Calcite Collection. The striking, transparent, colorless crystals have frosted faces and waxy luster. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. One edge is contacted, but has only trivial brusing and the lower half of the back is contacted, but has no damage, per se. This utterly fascinating and unique calcite looks like a pair of sails on a sailboat! Valued by the former dealer at $695 and worth it. A MUST for the calcite or Mexico collector.!
