Calcite (twin) on Calcite

Item Description

An attractive modified twinned Calcite measuring 3.0 cm across which is aesthetically sitting on a plate of smaller slightly iron-bearing orange crystallized Calcite on matrix. The twin is undamaged, and has a beautiful coppery colored interior when backlit. Very good condition all the way around, and it's certainly unusual to see such a large Calcite crystal on such smaller Calcite matrix. Priced at $900.
