Item Description

A striking, 5.0 cm, translucent, hematite-tinted, calcite twin is aesthetically attached to the curved wall covered with tinted and untinted calcite rhombs. This is a highly unusual broad and subtle twin, unlike the famous, sharp, V-twins from this noted locale. One termination is lightly cleaved and the other has trivial bruising. This remains a dramatic and rare varietal of calcite twin from the 884 Mine. The base and back have been sawed to enhance the considerable display quality. These came out 10-12 years ago and are seldom on the market today.
