Item Description

A very fine and sculptural calcite twin from the Trap Rock quarries of Essex County. The sharply twinned, transparent to translucent crystal has pleasing amber color and lightly frosted faces. The small rhombs on one side are a nice accent. Complete all-around and in great shape, with only a modest bit of bruising along one edge. Choice and uncommon material from this locality. Ex Cynthia Payne Collection and priced at $350 by the former dealer.
