A very well-devoloped twinning plane bisects this nifty 3.5 cm doubly terminated calcite crystal from this noted locale. The gem colorless crystal has striking water-clear faces, with most faces being frosted from a straw-yellow iron oxide coating. The crystal is beautifully set on the matrix. Complete all-around nearly pristine. A lower side face is contacted with no damage, per se and two top edges have very gentle bruising, which is certainly only a modest detraction to this most excellent and classic calcite.
