Item Description

This showy display specimen is a wonderful example of Calcite from Santa Eulalia featuring superb, sharp, lustrous, gemmy twinned Calcite crystals which range from colorless to a slightly reddish color (from iron oxide content) sitting atop contrasting Limonite matrix. The main Calcite twin measures 3.2 cm across, and I can't find any damage on it anywhere. The piece has great balance and aesthetics and is a great representation of these older crystals that came out a couple decades ago. If you collect Mexican minerals, carbonates or worldwide Calcites, you can't let a piece of this size and quality pass you by for a good price. Priced in our inventory at $1,500.
