A gorgeous 2.5 cm enechelon pair of golden, gemmy and lustrous calcite rhombs is aesthetically set in the sculptural basalt vug lined with dramatically contrasting knobs of sparkly, gemmy quartz points that look blue due to the underlying layer of blue chalcedony. A single 8 mm bladed stilbite crystal cluster is a nice accent to this very showy and colorful combination from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection. The bit of noted periphery wear is certainly a modest detraction to this exceptional combination.
