Item Description

A sculptural and pristine 360-degree cave calcite stalactite from the well-known Wenshan Mine. Striking second generation knobby, stepped-growth, translucent scalenohedrons totally engulf this artistic piece and cover the first generation stalactite. The broken base reveals the hollow tube, where the carbonate-rich fluids flowed and precipitated. Classic and excellent Wenshan Mine cave calcite.
