Large, sharp, splendent, jet-black, spinel-twinned, sphalerite crystals (Fe-rich variety marmatite) to 4.0 cm are dramatically and beautifully draped with glassy, colorless calcite rhombs and striking nifty bands and clusters of tiny, sparkly, translucent, brown, siderite disks on this very aesthetic combination specimen from this historic mining district.
