Rich golden-amber, stout, translucent calcite rhombs with satin lustre faces are dramatically, densely intergrown on this impressive large mounded specimen from Tsumeb. The dominating large rhomb at the top is 5.0 cm across. Tsumeb, like Dalnegorsk, is renowned for calcite diversity and quality and this is an excellent example of this style and color, having only modest scattered bruising.
