Item Description
A nifty and aesthetic calcite from this well-known Asturias mine. Well-placed, discrete sceptered calcite scalenohedrons have sparkly, dense stepped-growth faces and are capped by nearly water-clear, colorlesss, complex rhombs with phantoms. The crystals are up to 5.0 cm long and the piece looks good from either side. Complete all-around, with just a bit of scattered minimal bruising, which is certainly not a detraction. This fine piece looks just like classic Shullsburg, Wisconsion material, but it's not.
