Item Description
A stunning and rare calcite style from the famous Bor Pit at Dal'negorsk. The dramatic large gem crystal is a double scepter. The two strikingly different sized and sculptural scepters are attached to the tapered stalk. The two scalenohedrons and matrix attached to the side are super accents. The scepter looks like a robot from a 1950s science fiction movie! The frontal display is pristine, except for the cleaved base of the large crystal. Orange fluorescence. Dal'negorsk, like Tsumeb, is renowned for diversity and quality. An exceptional calcite from the Cynthia Payne Calcite Collection. Valued at $895 by the former dealer.
