Item Description

A super cool, incredibly sculptural sceptered calcite specimen from the famous Verchniy Mine. Four, glassy, lustrous, colorless, striking graduated in size, parallel-growth doubly terminated scepters are dramatically perched atop the branching tree-like calcite trunk adorned with more calcites. The sharp scalenohedral scepters have fantastic water-clear terminations adding gemmy pizzazz. Complete all-around and pristine, a superlative 360-degree calcite from here. Specimens of this quality came out in the 1990s to early 2000s. Dal'negorsk, like Tsumeb, is renowned for calcite quality and diversity. This one certainly qualifies. Pink fluoresence. A must for the calcite or locality collector.
