Elongated calcite scalenohedrons, such as this are very uncommon from Franklin. This is a fine, rich cluster of glassy crystals to about 1.3 cm on sawed matrix. Many of the crystals have broken tips, but this is an exceptional and rare example of the varietal from this famed locale. A must for the species or locality collector.
