Item Description

An outstanding 360-degree mounded calcite crystal hedgehog from the Ross Lillie Collection # 0391. Beautiful, lustrous and translucent, dogtooth calcites with amber tips dramatically cover this piece. The fantastic and rare doubly terminated crystal at the top is 5.5 cm. Mined in 1994. Ross' handwritten note states: "In very excellent condition. Very difficult to obtain. Note: doubly terminated crystal. RARE." Valued at $1250-1500 and worth it.
