Item Description
A new find from the Huanggang Mine featuring a beautiful "rosette"-shaped near "floater" group of highly compressed tabular Calcite crystals with a slight greenish hue caused by minor inclusions of Actinolite. I just picked this piece up a few weeks ago, and seems to have been part of a limited find. The fact that the piece is almost 100% intact is impressive as the crystals are somewhat delicate, and I can only see one crystal that is notably contacted. If you're a Calcite collector or a collector of Chinese minerals, you can't miss out on this one. Who knows how many more of them will be out there, and sometimes these finds are quite limited and never found again.
