A RARE, excellent and aesthetic large Chihuahua calcite with two highly uncommon and appealing forms. All of the larger crystals, including the impressive 8.0 cm scalenohedron are included with nifty micro mats of possible goethite. The other rare stunner is the 4.8 cm, doubly terminated, butterfly-twin calcite! The piece is essentially pristine. The interior is pristine, including the large dogtooth. The bit of periphery wear, mostly on one side, is certainly only a modest detraction to this very fine doubly rarity. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased in 1975, during the Golden Years of Mexican minerals. Possibly from Santa Eulalia. Value??
