A striking, excellent and very rare style of jackstraw calcite crystals from the famous Madoc area. Fascinating, lustrous and translucent, tan, stepped-growth, scalenohedrons form amazing sharp, jagged mountain peaks on this impressive plate. The large crystal is about 4.0 cm and this very fine piece has multiple display view. Choice and rare material from the Mollaed and Tom Wolfe Collections.
