Item Description
RARE, older, water-clear, very glassy, tabular calcite crystals are festooned on the segmented vugs lined with malachite on the dramatically sculptural large and sturdy layered limonite matrix. An adjacent vug is lined with malachite, pretty powder-blue rosasite and calcite blades, a striking complement. This impressive, rich and rare large older specimen is from fines over 20 years ago. See the 2003 Mineralogical Record Mexcio Special Issue-II, Vol. 34, No. 5. Seldom available in this calcite style, size and combination quality. MUCH better in person.
