Mineral specimens of ANY species are EXTREMELY RARE from this obscure mine in the famous Guanajuato District. This is striking and excellent mounded cluster of highly lustrous, very glassy, colorless, dogtooth calcite crystals. The crystals reach 2.2 cm on this exceptionally rare and showy 360-degree specimen. All of the crystals up top are pristine and the bit of noted basal periphery wear is out-of-sight on the back side of the piece. This is an exceptional and uncommon style of calcite from any of Guanajuato's famous mines. VERY choice and rare calcite and comes with a label from respected Mexico dealer Dennis Beals.
