Item Description
Specimens from this obscure Swiss calcite cleft system are RARE. Highly modified blocky, translucent, gray rhombs form a showy and very interesting piece. Some prism faces are preferentially included with iron oxides. The large rhomb on end with the striking skeletal features is impressive. The bit of periphery wear and bruising have very minimal impact on this rare and fine calcite. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and from the Karl-Heinz Henn Collection, according to his label.
