Item Description

Mineral specimens of any species are rare from this obscure French locale. This showy jackstraw cluster features very glassy, transparent to translucent, tapered trigonal prisms with nailhead terminations. The crystals are mostly colorless,, but there are hints of light iron oxide tinting. All of the many primary crystals in the interior are pristine. The bit of periphery wear in the front is barely noticeable. Choice and excellent material from this locale from the Cynthia Payne Collection. A must for the species or locality collector.
