Item Description

Calcite specimens from this well-known and exctinct zinc mine are RARE. Sharp, glassy, translucent, colorless flattened rhombs to 3.0 cm make for an aesthetic upright piece, that displays well without aid. Nearly pristine, with only a barely noticeable bit of edge wear. Rare and excellent Japan calcite from the Miller Calcite Collection of the 1970s and 80s, # 2577 (the numbers match). Pretty neon orange-pink fluorescence. A MUST for the species or locality collector.
