Item Description
Calcite is VERY RARE from this famous world-class Mexican silver producing district. This is a striking, sculptural large 360-degree cluster of large intergrown rhombs. The rhombs are very glassy, highly lustrous, transparent to translucent and have beautifully striated prism faces. The impressive, large, stout, more tabular rhomb on one side is 10.3 x 5.2 x 2.3 cm and is doubly terminated! A fascinating and nearly pristine 360-degree specimen, with only trivial bit of bruising at the top and on the sides. The attachment is at the base. Every turn presents a different perspective to this impressive RARITY. Exceptional calcite from the Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection. Bright neon-pink fluorescence! Valued highly for rarity, size and quality.
