Calcite, Quartz with Galena

Item Description

This specimen has remarkable visual appeal. The two spherical clusters of lustrous, and fluorescent, translucent Calcite sit perfectly on an undulating matrix of beige Calcite on Quartz. The spheres are 2.4 and 2.2 cm across, respectively, and you can clearly see the individual crystals that comprise them. The first generation Calcite is actually quite attractive dusted with micro Galena, and it almost looks as if it could be borderline Manganocalcite.
