An exceptional and striking large combination pseudomorph from this famous district and the Art Soregaroli Collection. A fantastic and beautiful overgrowth of gem, amber calcite has preferentially enveloped a sharp 2.5 cm dogtooth calcite crystal, that has been pseudomorphed by sparkly drusy quartz. The quartz has also replaced a nearby calcite rhomb and fully lines the large sculptural vug in pretty ice-blue and colorless quartz. The geometric form of the gem calcite over the quartz pseudo is amazing! This is certainly one of the most surreal and outstanding such combinations we have seen from any Indian locale.
