A classic and very showy CABINET combination specimen from the famous Telluride District of Colorado. Dogtooth calcite crystals to 2.5 cm with a nifty, second-generation calcite overgrowth richly cover the sulfide matrix. A couple of pockets of iridescent, golden pyrite cubes are nearly hidden amongst the calcite crystals. A nodule of lustrous, black sphalerite crystals on the lower left finalizes this excellent Colorado combo piece, which is essentially pristine. Ex Mullane Collection and comes with a 20+ year-old price tag of $65.00. that was a LOT of treasure for the time, showing the value they placed upon it
