Item Description
A very attractive cluster of stacked flattened rhombohedra (" nailhead discs") with phantoms inside of every rhomb! The phantoms seem to be due to micro-pyrite inclusions and are oddly enough oriented at exactly the midlines of the discs. A very sculptural specimen with the rhombs resting on a matrix of laminated dolomite crystals with much sparkly pyrite. Choice, old-time and RARE combination material from the famous Black Forest from the Leithauser Collection. Valued at $750.
