Item Description
An impressive and good sized example of these incredibly hard to find pseudomorphs from Fairview, OK. This specimen was at one point a large "hoppered" crystal Halite that was replaced by Calcite to create an interesting an unique complete "floater". The central regions of all six sides of the specimen all have beautiful "stepped" skeletal faces creating a cavernous interior. Although Calcite is not a rare mineral, it's not common to see Calcite deposited over Halite like this.
